The Christmas season comes upon us, and, with a passing nod to the gentleman hanging up on the cross in church, we throng into sterile department stores and pick up plastic loot to stuff under the plastic tree. it's so exciting and colourful compared to the outside world - which looks so drab in its greys and browns and blues and beiges.
